About Mouse Council
I’m an academic and amateur game developer based out of Michigan. This site is dedicated primarily to that latter of those hats, but my approach to the field is in some ways influenced by the former.
Broadly speaking, I’m interested in art that pushes against traditional structures of what a story is supposed to be. I think video games in particular are a well-spring for varied approaches to narrative experimentation, from classic adventure game oddities like The Dark Eye and Gadget: Past as Future to modern indie games from thecatamites, Cosmo D, Kitty Horrorshow, and countless others.
